Victoria Beckham has reached a major business milestone nearly two decades after launching her namesake brand.
Victoria Beckham Holdings recorded an operating profit of £7.3 million in 2025, marking the company’s first profitable year since its launch in 2008.
The result represents a significant turnaround for a business that has spent years transforming Beckham’s celebrity profile into a serious global luxury brand.
From losses to £7.3 million profit
The shift is particularly notable compared with the previous year.
In 2024, the company reported an operating loss of £1.6 million. One year later, it moved firmly into profit.
Revenue increased 15 per cent to £129.8 million, while EBITDA rose from £2.2 million to £12.1 million.
It was also the company’s fifth consecutive year of double-digit revenue growth, suggesting that the improvement is part of a broader long-term trend rather than a one-off result.
Fashion drives the turnaround
Victoria Beckham’s fashion business was one of the strongest contributors to growth.
Dresses and gowns accounted for around 32 per cent of the retail business, while signature pieces such as the Katherine jacket, Alina trouser, Isabella gown and Bela dress continued to perform strongly.
The brand has increasingly built its identity around polished tailoring, eveningwear and refined silhouettes rather than chasing short-lived trends.
That consistency appears to be helping Victoria Beckham establish a more recognisable position within the luxury market.
Netflix brought new attention to the brand
The 2025 Netflix documentary Victoria Beckham also played a role in increasing visibility around both Beckham herself and the company.
The renewed attention helped support growth across direct-to-consumer and wholesale channels, while ready-to-wear remained one of the brand’s strongest categories.
For Beckham, the documentary came at a useful moment.
Rather than presenting her only as a former Spice Girl or celebrity designer, it introduced a wider audience to the work behind the fashion business and the evolution of her creative identity.
Beauty becomes another major growth engine
Victoria Beckham Beauty also delivered one of its strongest years so far.
The success of The Foundation Drops, which combine makeup with skincare ingredients, helped more than double sales within the category.
The result is particularly important because beauty is becoming an increasingly significant part of the wider Victoria Beckham business.
Instead of relying solely on fashion, the company now has two complementary areas of growth: luxury clothing and beauty.
That diversification gives the business a stronger platform for international expansion.
New York store marks the next step
Growth has continued into 2026, with the company reporting another double-digit increase in sales during the first half of the year.
The next major step will come in September, when Victoria Beckham opens a new store on Mercer Street in New York.
It will be the first Victoria Beckham location in the city to bring fashion, beauty and fragrance together under one roof.
The opening reflects the company’s ambition to create a more complete luxury lifestyle environment around the brand.
A long road to profitability
Victoria Beckham’s transition from pop star to fashion entrepreneur has never been an overnight success story.
The company was launched in 2008 and spent years building credibility in an industry that can be particularly sceptical of celebrity-founded labels.
Despite strong visibility and critical recognition, profitability remained difficult.
The latest numbers therefore carry symbolic importance.
For the first time, Victoria Beckham Holdings has demonstrated that the business can combine creative relevance with sustainable financial performance.
The celebrity brand that became a luxury business
The result also places Victoria Beckham within a smaller group of celebrity-founded brands that have managed to evolve beyond the fame of their founder.
The strongest celebrity businesses eventually need to operate like real companies — with recognisable products, disciplined growth, international customers and categories capable of performing independently of media attention.
Victoria Beckham now appears to be reaching that stage.
With fashion performing strongly, beauty accelerating and a major New York store about to open, the brand is entering its next phase from a very different position than it occupied only a few years ago.
After 17 years, Victoria Beckham’s fashion empire is finally profitable — and the company is now focused on turning that milestone into long-term global growth.
