Shakira and Burna Boy are continuing their global chart domination as Dai Dai (FIFA World Cup Official Song 2026)reaches another major milestone.

The collaboration has now spent 10 weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. chart, while also securing a seventh week at the top of the Billboard Global 200. More than a month after the end of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, the song remains one of the biggest tracks in the world.

‘Dai Dai’ reaches an elite chart milestone

The track drew 36.7 million streams worldwide during the latest tracking week and sold around 4,000 copies globally.

Outside the United States alone, it generated 31.4 million streams and 3,000 sales.

Its latest week at No. 1 places Shakira and Burna Boy in rare company. Since the Global Excl. U.S. chart launched in September 2020, only seven songs have remained at the top for at least 10 weeks.

Among them are Miley Cyrus’ Flowers, Harry Styles’ As It Was, Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars’ Die With a Smile, ROSÉ and Bruno Mars’ APT. and Mariah Carey’s enduring holiday classic All I Want for Christmas Is You.

For Shakira and Burna Boy, joining that group confirms that Dai Dai has grown far beyond its original role as a World Cup anthem.

The World Cup anthem keeps its momentum

Released as the official song of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, Dai Dai received enormous global exposure during the tournament.

Shakira and Burna Boy also performed together during the World Cup final between Spain and Argentina on July 19, giving the collaboration one of the biggest possible international stages.

But its continued success after the tournament has become perhaps the more impressive story.

Major event songs often peak around the event itself. Dai Dai, however, has maintained its position at the top of the charts weeks later, turning a football anthem into one of 2026’s defining global pop records.

Karol G scores another global top 10

The latest Billboard rankings also bring a major result for Karol G.

Her track BbY WOW, featuring Spanish artists Judeline and rusowsky, jumps from No. 37 to No. 5 on the Global 200and reaches No. 10 on Global Excl. U.S.

The song recorded a 45 per cent increase in worldwide streams, reaching approximately 26 million plays during the tracking period.

The result gives Karol G her seventh Global 200 top 10 and eighth top 10 on the Global Excl. U.S. chart.

For Judeline and rusowsky, meanwhile, the collaboration marks their first appearance inside the top 10 of either global ranking.

Stella Lefty lands her first global top 10

Another breakthrough comes from Stella Lefty, whose track Boston rises from No. 17 to No. 10 on the Global 200.

The song generated 24.1 million streams worldwide, up nine per cent from the previous week, alongside around 5,000 sales.

It becomes Lefty’s first top 10 entry on the Global 200 and also achieves an unusual crossover milestone.

Boston is the first debut chart entry by a female artist that has also appeared on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs ranking to reach the Global 200 top 10.

Dolly Parton classics return to the charts

The latest rankings also reflect a major surge of listening around Dolly Parton’s catalogue following her death on August 25.

Five of the country legend’s songs enter the Global 200, led by Jolene at No. 16.

The 1973 classic recorded 18.5 million global streams and approximately 20,000 sales.

It is followed by 9 to 5 at No. 25, Islands in the Stream with Kenny Rogers at No. 43, I Will Always Love You at No. 55 and Here You Come Again at No. 133.

The renewed chart presence demonstrates the extraordinary longevity of Parton’s music, with songs released decades ago finding another global audience.

Tame Impala, Justin Bieber and BTS remain strong

Elsewhere on the Global Excl. U.S. chart, Tame Impala’s Loser rises to a new peak of No. 2, while Justin Bieber and Nicki Minaj’s Beauty and a Beat climbs to No. 3.

BTS’ Swim moves into fourth place after previously spending eight weeks at No. 1, while Ariana Grande’s Hate That I Made You Love Me sits at No. 5.

On the Global 200, Ella Langley’s Choosin’ Texas remains at No. 2, followed by Tame Impala at No. 3 and Grande at No. 4.

Shakira and Burna Boy remain on top

Billboard’s global rankings measure streaming and sales activity across more than 200 territories, making them one of the clearest indicators of how music is performing internationally.

For Shakira and Burna Boy, 10 weeks at No. 1 outside the United States represents more than another chart statistic.

It confirms that Dai Dai has successfully moved beyond the World Cup moment that introduced it to a massive audience.

Weeks after the tournament ended, the collaboration is still leading the global conversation — and has now earned its place among the longest-running No. 1 songs in the history of Billboard’s international charts.
