The Arab Process is taking place in Spain these days. It is a political meeting which aims to strengthen military cooperation between countries in the regional and international fight against terrorism. On the occasion of the important state event, King Abdullah II of Jordan arrived in Madrid on an official visit. He was accompanied on the trip by his wife Rania and young son Hashim.
The royal couple of Spain, Felipe VI and Letizia, gave the guests a warm welcome at their official residence. The two monarchs exchanged warm greetings before entering the building.
“So much has happened in the world over the past eight years since we last visited your beautiful country, but despite the crisis, conflicts, pandemic and more, the relationship and the warm friendship between our families, our peoples and our countries has only continued to strengthen,” said King Abdullah II in his speech at the palace.
After the meeting at the palace, the queens visited the Cultural Heritage Institute of Spain. Letizia wore a Diego Estrada sleeveless midi-dress made of jacquard fabric with floral prints. She completed the look with Carolina Herrera open-toed leather shoes. Rania wore a dark blue Dior midi dress with long sleeves and butterfly embroidery and Manolo Blahnik suede ankle boots.
