Beyoncé’s Renaissance World Tour grossed $461.2 million and became the highest-grossing female tour in history. However, the singer’s earnings could still increase as performances will still take place in Inglewood, Vancouver, Seattle, Arlington, Houston and New Orleans. The tour will run through early October. After the concert in Kansas City, Missouri, the performer said that everyone will now be able to see her performances. Beyoncé will present a film about Renaissance.
The premiere will take place on 1 December. The project is called “Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé”. The official synopsis of the project states that the film will tell the story of Beyoncé’s plans, hard work, involvement in every aspect of production, her creative mind and her goal to create her legacy. The film will explore how the tour, received with extraordinary acclaim, created a space for freedom and self-expression for more than 2.7 million fans.
In the film’s trailer, the singer can be seen backstage at the show and while performing on stage. In the clip, the star says:
‘The goal of this tour was to create a place where everyone is free and no one is judged.’
