The world’s longest suspended landscape pool has been opened in Dubai – it can be found at the One&Only One Za’abeel Hotel. The pool, which is placed one hundred metres above the ground between two towers, is 120 metres long.
Panoramic views of Dubai can even be enjoyed from the changing cabins. Bathers can also see Za’abeel Park, the Burj Khalifa skyscraper and the famous Dubai skyline. It is noted that pool guests will be entertained by a DJ at all times.
One&Only One Za’abeel opened on 1 January 2024. Guests are welcomed in 229 rooms, some of the suites in the Sanctuary Collection feature massage tables for in-room treatments and a meditation area. The property is home to 10 Michelin-rated restaurants.
In October 2023, as previously reported, Dubai received another entry in the Guinness Book of World Records – the emirate acquired the highest running track in the world. The 335 metre long Sky Track is located on the 43rd floor of the Residences at Wasl1 building, Za’abeel, 157 metres above the ground.
Runners who decide to try it out will be in for a surreal experience as it practically merges with the clouds. It also offers views of Dubai’s major landmarks and the Persian Gulf.
