Merchia Beach is one of the most secluded and picturesque spots in Mykonos. There are no crowds here, no loud parties, no rush. The sound of the sea is louder than any music, and the horizon feels endless. It was here, on the far edge of this quiet coastline, that I discovered Semeli Coast Mykonos—a hotel that delivers absolute seclusion without compromising on style, service, or modern comfort.

A PRIVATE HAVEN ON MERCHIA BEACH
I’ve been searching for a place in Mykonos where you can truly feel the island, away from the tourist chaos but with the highest level of hospitality. Semeli Coast turned out to be exactly that.
Located directly on Merchia Beach, it offers immediate access to the sea while keeping guests hidden from the outside world. It’s a rare combination of privacy and openness—you feel completely in your own space, yet always connected to the sweeping Aegean landscape.

ARCHITECTURE & INTERIORS: MODERN MEDITERRANEAN ELEGANCE
The hotel’s architecture is inspired by Cycladic tradition but with a modern twist: whitewashed walls, natural stone, spacious terraces, and panoramic windows that blur the line between indoors and out.
What stood out for me:
- Suites and villas with private pools and jacuzzis
- A seamless flow from room to terrace to sea
- Décor in a soft, natural palette—minimalist yet warm
- High-quality finishes and attention to every detail

ACCOMMODATIONS: LUXURY TAILORED TO YOU
The property features 45 suites and villas, and I had the chance to explore several categories.
- Junior & Panoramic Suites – Spacious, with jacuzzis and large terraces perfect for sunrise views.
- Two-Bedroom Suites – Great for friends or families, complete with a private
- Signature Villas – Maximum privacy, a full kitchen, expansive living areas, and private spa facilities.
Everything is designed so that you never have to leave your room if you want complete seclusion.

DINING & LIFESTYLE: REFINED SIMPLICITY
Dining at Semeli Coast is all about freshness and simplicity—the kind that often brings more pleasure than the most elaborate dishes.
- The restaurant focuses on local ingredients, with plenty of fresh fish, seafood, and
- The beach menu offers light bites and drinks, perfect for long, lazy hours by the
- In-villa dining is available for private, romantic

WELLNESS & EXPERIENCES: DESIGNED FOR BALANCE
The spa is one of the reasons I would return. There’s a sauna, hammam, massage rooms, and an extensive treatment menu. For those who don’t skip workouts, there’s a well-equipped fitness center.
Two shared pools deserve special mention: one is an outdoor pool with a jacuzzi, ideal for unwinding after a hot day; the other is a scenic infinity-style pool with stunning views of the Aegean.
And the hotel’s private beach is a real bonus—quiet, well-maintained, with comfortable loungers and discreet service right by the water.

FINAL VERDICT
Semeli Coast Mykonos is for travelers who seek silence, space, and the feeling that the whole island belongs to them. It’s a place where you can forget about time and responsibilities, fully immersed in the rhythm of the sea. Two pools, a private beach, spacious villas, and first-class service make this one of my best discoveries in Mykonos.
